I’m sure you have seen and heard about the devastation in Haiti following the recent earth quake. Our hearts ache for the people. We want to help.
Did you know that Haiti was officially dedicated to Satan in 1791 and rededicated in 1991–the two hundredth anniversary of the event? Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere. HORRIBLE ATTROCITIES occur in Haiti and the government turns its head. Voodoo is practiced by many. Satan is a hard task master and eventually totally destroys his servants. This puts the recent earth quake in a different light.
Should we help the Haitians following the recent earth quake? I believe we should. There are many people in Haiti who are not responsible for the actions and decisions of their government and other leaders. There are people there who desperately need the Lord and our help. I would just suggest that if you are able to help you make sure that those you help through, are godly dependable Christian workers–such as one of our missionaries.
