When we lived in Nanjemoy, MD we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in 2007. Our children then surprised us with a wonderful party at a state park where we found friends and family gathered from near and far. Our children also gave a lap top each to my husband and me, and a family web site, thecorbettfamily.org.
Knowing that my spiritual gift is exhortation, my son Steven set up a blog for me on the site. The blog and I quickly became fast friends. Here I told of events in my life and shared things the Lord has done for me and my family and things He has taught me. My life theme is Titus 2, so often my blogs reflect the idea of the aged woman teaching the young woman the eight things the Lord instructs us to teach.
When Steven and Wes came up with the idea of fruitiply I eventually began posting many of my blog posts on both sites.
In June of this year we moved to Grand Cayman Island where my husband has been called to pastor Good News Baptist Church. Of course, my blogs sometimes mention things about life here on the island. It is my husband, however, who takes care of our missionary updates; so if anyone is interested in hearing more about the work here on the island, I am certain he will be happy to add your email address to his list of contacts.
Thank you, Steven, for making it so easy for me fulfill this part of my life purpose. The Lord bless you for your investment in my life.
