Today is the day God made and we are rejoicing in it. Early this morning we headed for High Point Baptist Church with 12 of us ready to pass out John and Romans, a gospel tract and a brochure on High Point Baptist Church. Quite a few others also were heading in the same direction. Our little group delivered around 450 packets to persons or homes. What a joy to meet people and invite them to be a part of a new work of the Lord. High Point’s first service is to be tomorrow morning. We found several people who were looking for a church. What a rewarding day.
We returned home in time to get ready for choir practice. After that we practiced special music. After that we did some preparation for Sunday School. It is a little after midnight and here we still are–at the church. I must say I really do enjoy the life of a pastor’s wife. It’s never dull and always busy.
This evening I spent a few minutes reading posts on our web site geared toward our youth. There are some really good discussions going on there. You can check it out at acceptthecharge.org.
