On Saturday a four year old little boy drowned “in a pond or something” here on the island.
Yesterday a 58 year old man from Ohio, who had arrived on Saturday and was here for a few days, drowned at Spotts Beach. The ambulances and police were arriving as we passed on our way to choir practice yesterday afternoon.
Also yesterday a man who attended our services two weeks ago was shot and killed. His half brother testified last night that the man had accepted Christ “while he was here.”
People are entering eternity quickly and at a variety of ages. The work of Christ’s ambassadors is essential. Be faithful to do the next right thing where God has you. It may be of great importance in the life of the next one to enter eternity.
