{"id":28,"date":"2008-01-26T22:24:56","date_gmt":"2008-01-27T03:24:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thecorbettfamily.org\/book\/?p=28"},"modified":"2013-08-15T01:03:53","modified_gmt":"2013-08-15T06:03:53","slug":"the-bad-word","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecorbettfamily.org\/book\/the-bad-word\/","title":{"rendered":"The Bad Word"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Elisabeth and Rebekah had just been to a friend&#8217;s house where they had watched a movie.\u00c2\u00a0 In the movie, a word had been said that the girls both knew they weren&#8217;t allowed to say.<\/p>\n<p>When they were home later that day, Rebekah saw Elisabeth, and got an idea!\u00c2\u00a0 She rushed over to her, and with a mischievous look, said the first syllable of the bad word, quickly\u00c2\u00a0 Elisabeth finished\u00c2\u00a0it. So they had together said the word they had heard on the movie that they weren&#8217;t allowed to say.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 As soon as Elisabeth finished it, Rebekah said, &#8220;Awww, I&#8217;m telling- you know you&#8217;re not allowed to say that word!&#8221;\u00c2\u00a0And off she ran to tell Mom!\u00c2\u00a0 Mom, however, felt that Rebekah was just as much at fault, if not more so, than Elisabeth- so she spanked them both!<\/p>\n<p>*DISCLAIMER &#8211; the word that they said was not a curse word, or anything close.
